Fire Damages Dubuque County Garage

Fire damaged a Dubuque County garage on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says Key West Fire responded to 9909 Elle Court at the Brandon and Jessica Arensdorf home shortly before 4 pm. An investigation revealed that a side-by-side utility vehicle was parked moments before the fire started – that’s believed to be the cause of the fire. The fire was contained to a capped garage area, with the home sustaining minor smoke damage.

The Sheriff’s Office says some of the residents were home at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.
