One person was killed in a collision in Jones County on Monday.
The crash happened shortly before 1:30 pm at the intersection of Highway 151 and Highway 1. The Iowa State Patrol says a car was northbound when, for an unknown reason, it crossed the median on Highway 151 at Highway 1. The car was struck broadside by a pickup truck, which was southbound on Highway 151.
The driver of the car died at the scene. The truck driver was injured.
Their names are being withheld until family has been notified.
