KMCH SPORTS: High School Sports results from Monday 4/6

BOYS GOLF-

West Delaware took down Center Point-Urbana in their season opener 170-174 at the Wildcat Golf Course near Shellsburg. Senior Colson Mersch was co-medalist and lost in a card back to CP-U junior Eli Jones. Blake Mather was 3rd with a 42, Colten Roling was 5th with a 42, 7th was Macoy Roling with a 47, Tyler Buesing 9th with a 49 and Caden Stickney 10th with a 52. Eli Zimmerman was medalist for the Hawks JV squad.

Monticello traveled to the Preston Valley Golf Course near Preston to face Northeast. The Rebels edged the Panthers 171-176. Jayce Hall was 3rd with a 43, 4th was Reid Hinrichs with a 44, Luke Welter 5th with a 44, Parker Johnson 7th with a 45, 10th was Talan Long with a 49 and Tate Long 11th place with a 51.

Cascade topped Bellevue 165-178 in Bellevue.

Anamosa at one of their home courses, the Wapsipinicon Country Club, took down Camanche 153 -164.

GIRLS GOLF-

West Delaware hosted their first meet out at the Pin Oak Course near Manchester. The Hawks defeated CP-U 202-305, The medalist was Malorie Putz with a 49, Parker Robinson 2nd with a 50, Addesyn Welcher was 3rd with a 51, 4th was Livvy Petlon with a 52, 5th was Izzy Barrett with a 53 and 6th with a 55 was Rayleigh Heims.

Beckman Catholic defeated Maquoketa 207-252.

Cascade beat Bellevue 208-221.

Monticello fell to Northeast 238-248.

Anamosa won a triangular over Camanche and Clinton 194-196-209.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD-

Anamosa hosted their annual Ken Fearing Relays. Denver ran away with the meet scoring 141 points, West Delaware 3rd with 82, Monticello 5th with 72, Cascade 7th with 51, Anamosa was 8th with 50.5, Maquoketa Valley 10th with 29.

GIRLS SOCCER-

Monticello was blanked by Iowa City Regina Catholic 10-0.

Anamosa fell to West Liberty 4-0.

Western Dubuque was defeated by Dubuque Senior 5-2.

BOYS SOCCER-

Cascade and Tipton ended in a 3-3 tie.

Monticello was handled by Iowa City Regina Catholic 12-2.

Beckman Catholic topped West Branch 4-3.

Anamosa shutout by West Liberty 1-0.

Western Dubuque was blanked by Dubuque Senior 8-0.
