The West Delaware Girls and Boys Soccer teams began their new season’s last night on the road in Van Horne. The Hawk girls fell to the Bobcats 4-0 while the Benton Community boys won 3-0.
In other girls soccer coverage area play; Anamosa was shutout by Iowa City Regina Catholic 2-0.
Other boys scores, Independence was shutout by Vinton-Shellsburg 4-0.
GIRLS GOLF-
Starmont defeated Maquoketa Valley at the Backbone Golf Course, the Stars won 216-227.
