RMC Offering Laboratory Career Mini Camps

Regional Medical Center is offering two Laboratory Career Mini Camps for high school students.
The mini lab camps are called “Future Laboratory Professionals: Without the Lab, They’re Only Guessing!”. Medical Technologist Shea Putz says these camps will offer a unique opportunity to learn about a laboratory career through interactive presentations and hands-on learning.
Putz says they’re changing up things a little this year.
The two dates available for this one-day mini camp are Sunday, April 26th and Sunday, May 3rd (from 1 to 4 pm both days). Lab Manager Venita Minnicozzi says they’ll get a small taste of what it’s like to work in a medical lab.
The cost for the lab is $25 per student. Applications are due Friday – they can be found on Regional Medical Center’s website at regmedctr.org/labcamp.
