Severe Weather Possible Much of Week

There’s an elevated risk of strong to severe thunderstorms tonight. National Weather Service Meteorologist Mike Fowle:
The KMCH listening area is under a Level 1 Marginal Risk for severe weather through tonight, with the northern portion of the area (Clayton and Fayette counties) under a Level 2 Slight Risk.

Fowle says it’s just the start of what could be a very stormy week for the state. Tuesday looks to bring the biggest threat, with the KMCH listening area upgraded to a Level 3 Enhanced Risk for severe weather tomorrow.
Severe weather is a threat again Wednesday and Friday. Stay weather aware and keep it tuned to KMCH for any watches and warnings – we’ll break in with live local weather coverage as needed.
