KMCH SPORTS: HS Spring Results from Tuesday 4/22

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD-

The West Delaware Girls won the girls half of the Tiger Co-Ed relays in Tipton, scoring 160 points. The host Tigers were 2nd with 121.5, Maquoketa 4th with 82, CP-U was 5th with 80.

Independence took 3rd with 102.5 points in the Oelwein co-ed, Starmont was 5th with 44.

Maqouketa Valley came in 4th with 80.5 in the Alburnett co-ed, North Linn was 7th with 40.5, East Buchanan was 8th with 23.

Beckman Catholic finished 8th with 16 points in the Denny Gruber Relays in Solon.

BOYS TRAK & FIELD-

Beckman Catholic placed 8th with 9 points in Solon.

In Alburnett, Maquoketa Valley scored 50 to finish in 5th place, North Linn and Ed-Co tied at 6th with 44, 9th was East Buchanan with 20.

Monticello took 2nd in Tipton with 80.5 points, Cascade was 5th with 52.

GIRLS GOLF-

Maquoketa Valley fell to Lisbon 169-203.

Ed-Co hosted a triangular at the Lone Pine course in Colesburg, winning it with a 198, Starmont shot a 231 and Alburnett a 239.

BOYS GOLF-

East Buchanan placed 3rd at Clayton Ridge’s 18-hole invite, the Bucs tallied a 347.

Maquoketa Valley topped Lisbon 151-167.

Monticello at home defeated Maquoketa 168-173.

North Linn beat Springville.

GIRLS SOCCER-

West Delaware won their 3rd game of the season with a 5-0 win over South Tama.

Monticello was shutout by Bellevue Marquette 8-0.

Independence and Solon ended in a 0-0 tie.

BOYS SOCCER-

West Delaware lost to South Tama 9-2.

Western Dubuque was blanked by Cedar Falls 9-0.

Monticello lost to Bellevue Marquette 8-1.
