West Delaware Middle School Students Give Back on Service Day

West Delaware Middle School students were volunteering out in our local communities on Wednesday.

It was the fourth annual West Delaware Middle School Service Day – aligning with Earth Day. Every student – and almost every adult – at the middle school were involved in a service project.

Some of the service projects included:

• Camp Courageous Garage Sale – helping with outdoor clean-up
• WD Middle School – weeding and mulching flower beds, garbage pick-up, sidewalk chalk messages
• Delaware County Fairgrounds – helping clean the grounds
• Adopt-A-Highway trash pick up along Highway 13
• Good Neighbor Home – visiting with residents
• Whitewater Park area, Baum Park, Tirrill Park, Denton Park/RMC, Central Park, WD High School, Schram Park, Ryan City Park, Dundee City Park, Masonville City Park and Bailey’s Ford Park  – garbage pick-up, sidewalk chalk messages

Thanks to West Delaware for sharing a few photos!
