KMCH SPORTS: Results from Tuesday 4/28

GIRLS TRACK & FIELD-

West Delaware won the Vinton-Shellsburg 8-team meet with 167.5 points, Tipton was 3rd with 111, Marion 3rd with 106.

Ed-Co won the Clayton Ridge 5-team meet with 136 points.

Anamosa hosted 11 teams. Mid-Prairie were the victors with 164 points, Monticello 3rd with 106, Maquoketa Valley 4th with 190, Anamosa 5th with 66, North Linn 9th with 30 and Independence 10th with 20.

BOYS TRACK & FIELD-

Maquoketa Valley placed 8th with 14 points in the Aplington-Parkersburg meet.

At the Dubuque County meet hosted by Hempstead, the Mustangs were first with 147 points, 2nd was Western Dubuque with 145, Cascade was 5th with 44 and Beckman Catholic 6th with 42.

In the 12-team boys side of their co-ed, Central DeWitt took the top spot with 139, Monticello was 4th with 80, Anamosa 7th with 40, North Linn 9th with 34, 10th was Independence with 22.

GIRLS GOLF-

In Solon, Beckman 4th with a 368, 6th was West Delaware with a 388.

East Buchanan topped Maquoketa Valley and North Cedar 177-202-287.

Ed-Co fell to Lisbon 212-180.

Independence took down CP-U.

BOYS GOLF-

Starmont defeated North Fayette Valley and Midland 153-159-182.

North Linn beat Clinton Prince of Peace155-196.

GIRLS SOCCER-

West Delaware fell to CP-U 4-1.

Anamosa and Northeast tied at 3.

BOYS SOCCER-

West Delaware was blanked by CP-U 9-0.

Western Dubuque and Bellevue Marquette tied at 2.

Anamosa lost to Clinton Prince of Peace 3-1.

Monticello lost to Bellevue 4-1.
