Cancer Survivor Convoy Kicks Off Midwest Pride In Your Ride

Midwest Pride In Your Ride is going on this weekend in Earlville.
The annual truck and tractor show is a major fundraiser for the local Relay for Life, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society.
The event kicks off each year with a Survivor Convoy on Thursday night, with five semis each carrying a cancer survivor from Delaware County meeting up with five semis each carrying a cancer survivor from Dubuque County. The Delaware County convoy gathers in Manchester, while the Dubuque County convoy gathers in Dyersville – with the two convoys meeting in the middle in Earlville, traveling nearly side-by-side down Earlville’s main street and then heading out to Tri-State Raceway.

KMCH was invited to share the stories of the five cancer survivors from Delaware County who were honored to participate in the ride.
