The 6th Annual MV Market is taking place today in Delhi.
It’s a shopping event hosted by the Maquoketa Valley CTE (Career and Technical Education) Department – giving students an opportunity to showcase and sell many of the items they’ve created this school year.
Junior Noah Whalen is a member of the FCCLA, which started Taste Oasis at Maquoketa Valley. It’s open every Tuesday and Thursday morning inside the school. He says you can get a taste of it at today’s MV Market.
Junior Bryce Vaske says they’ll have plants from their greenhouse there too.
Senior Kash Hunt says they’ll also have woodworking projects, with a big focus on cutting boards.
Instructor Kurt Palmer says the community really shows up to support.
Today’s MV Market will run from 2:30 to 6 pm at Delhi City Park. All the proceeds will help support Maquoketa Valley’s Career and Technical Education and Student Organizations, including FBLA, FCCLA, FFA and Skills USA members by providing more opportunities for those student members.
