Delaware County Economic Development Hosting Fundraiser Cookout

Delaware County Economic Development, also known as DCED, is hosting a fundraiser cookout today during the lunch hour at the Manchester Fareway.
DCED plays a big role in Delaware County. Not only do they work to bring in businesses and industries, but they also work to prepare and train our local residents and the future generation with the skills and experiences so they can contribute to our local workforce.
Delaware County Economic Development Director Donna Boss says the proceeds from today’s cookout will help them do just that.
Dean Sherman has been involved with the Delaware County Economic Development Board for many years. He says DCED is truly all about partnerships.
You can help Delaware County Economic Development by stopping by today’s cookout. It’s taking place from 11 to 1 at the Manchester Fareway parking lot, with the Delaware County Cattlemen grilling ribeye steak sandwiches – you can get the steak sandwich, chips and a bottle of water for $12. And they’ll deliver anywhere in the county if you have ten or more meals – try to get those large delivery orders in by 10-10:30 am by calling 563-920-4029.
And keep it tuned today – Jon Swisher will be broadcasting from today’s cookout from 11 to 12:30 here on KMCH.
