Governor Attending Field of Dreams Announcement on Thursday

The Field of Dreams will be making a special announcement today, with Iowa’s governor making a trip to Dyersville for it.

Organizers say the announcement is related to the “Bring It Home” campaign. The “Bring It Home” campaign is an initiative led by Dyersville Events, Inc., supporting both the preservation of the original movie site and the expansion of the broader campus. Planned improvements include a professional-grade ballpark, a youth baseball and softball complex, and expanded opportunities for events, education, and community engagement.

Dyersville Events, LLC, says today’s announcement will bring together a group of key partners, supporters, and stakeholders who have helped advance the long-term vision for the Field of Dreams. The program will include remarks from project leadership and partners, as well as recognition of leadership-level investments and partnerships that continue to move the campaign forward.

Governor Kim Reynolds plans to attend to provide remarks on the project.
