One person was injured in a motorcycle crash near Dyersville on Friday night.
The accident happened around 6:30 pm at 332nd Avenue/Vine Road on the northwest edge of town. The Iowa State Patrol says a motorcycle heading south on 332nd Avenue left the road and went into the west ditch, striking a group of trees.
The driver and sole occupant, 68-year old Michael Allen Wieland of Alburnett, was injured and transported to MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Dyersville Police Department and Bi-County Ambulance assisted the Iowa State Patrol.
