McQuillen Family Donates to Monticello Police Department

A local family has donated to the Monticello Police Department.

Matt and Beth McQuillen have donated first responder medical bags to the department. In March of 2020, their daughter Maggie was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on Highway 151 near Anamosa. The Monticello Police Department says thanks to the quick response and immediate medical intervention, Maggie’s story is one of perseverance and triumph. 

The PD says it has become a mission of the McQuillen family to give back to area first responders and provide necessary frontline medical supplies. These kits will be added to the Monticello Police Department’s existing medical supplies. They will be made available within their patrol vehicles for officers who routinely respond to medical emergencies.
