Fire Destroys Home Sunday in Dubuque County

Dubuque County Authorities report a structure fire causing significant damage yesterday. According to the deputies report, the call came just before 3 am on Sunday morning, as deputies, along with Peosta Police Department, Epworth Fire/EMS, Asbury Fire, Farley Fire, and Centralia/Peosta Fire responded to a structure fire at 10764 Cedar Ridge Ct. Upon arrival, the residence was fully engulfed, and the occupants were able to safely exit. The residence is considered a total loss with an estimated $500,000 in damage. At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown, but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
