Two Vehicle Accident in Linn County Sunday Injures One

Linn County Authorities report a two vehicle accident yesterday afternoon that injured one. According to the report, the incident occurred around 12:30 yesterday afternoon, as deputies, along with Marion Police, Marion Fire and Cedar Rapids Area Ambulance were dispatched to a personal motor vehicle accident at Hwy 100 and Banner Dr. A 2021 Ford Edge, driven by 56-year old Sandra Wilson pulled out from Banner Dr and was struck by a 2014 Volkswagen Passat traveling eastbound, driven by 25 year old Nathan Mowry. The passenger in the Volkswagen was transported to Mercy by Area Ambulance for minor injuries. Wilson was cited for Failure to Yield Upon Entering A Through Roadway.
