Severe Storms Possible Tonight into Friday

Severe storms are possible tonight into Friday. 

The National Weather Service says unseasonably warm and humid air is moving into the area through Sunday, bringing rounds of thunderstorms. Strong to severe storms are possible, with wind and hail the primary threats.

Tonight there is a low-end severe threat, with most of the area under a Level 2 out of 5 Slight Risk for severe weather Friday through Friday night.

Forecasters say given the high moisture content in the area, any thunderstorm will be capable of producing heavy rainfall.
