The Manchester Municipal Band will perform their first concert of the summer tonight.
The community had a band decades ago and recently started back up in 2018. They’ve grown from around 20 members to 42 currently, with Jill Hefel and Teri Frost among them.
Come as you are tonight to the Tirrill Park Bandshell in Manchester at 7 pm – feel free to bring along your dinner and enjoy tonight’s free show.
The band practices on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8 pm at the West Delaware Middle School band room – and new members are welcome anytime.
The Manchester Municipal Band’s upcoming summer concerts will be held June 30th, July 21st and August 4th at 7 pm, with a special performance at Manchester’s “Red, White and You” event on July 4th at 11:30 am.
