Winthrop Days kicks off today.
It’s Winthrop’s annual community festival, running today through Saturday. The Winthrop C&C Club hosts the big event. Winthrop native Bill Hansen says the C&C Club has been around for decades, supporting the community.
Diamond Rio is coming to Winthrop to perform at Winthrop Days on Friday night, with musicians Joe McIntosh on Thursday night and Cal Cummings on Saturday night.
This year’s Winthrop Days also features a new pickleball tournament on Saturday.
There’s also the Winthrop Days parade on Saturday at 4 pm, with the community dinner from 4:30 to 7 pm and fireworks at dusk.
And tune in for Eric Walker’s broadcast from Winthrop Days on Friday night from 5 to 7 pm on KMCH.
