Edgewood Hosting Pro-Rodeo Days

It’s rodeo time.

Edgewood is hosting its annual Pro-Rodeo Days this weekend. The rodeo kicks off tonight, Friday and Saturday night at 8 pm, with gates opening at 6 pm – and new this year, a Sunday rodeo at 5 pm. Jerry Maker, owner of the Edgewood Livestock grounds where the rodeo takes place, says the legendary Roger Mooney will be announcing as always.

Maker says these are professional riders competing for points.

In addition to the rodeo, Chamber Director Elise Bergan says there are activities throughout the week, with the usual Edgewood Rodeo Days parade on Saturday.

And Sunday also brings something new with Rodeo Church.

The Edgewood community comes together every year to make Rodeo Days a big success.
