The Buchanan County Fair kicked off in Independence on Tuesday.
This year’s concert headliner is the Eli Young Band on Friday night, with Chayce Beckham. Fred Smock says you can still get tickets.
The Demolition Derby is Saturday night, with the fair races tonight starting at 6 pm.
You’re welcome to join them for a great meal at the annual FFA Tenderloin Supper on Thursday night from 5 to 7 pm.
Smock says the nice thing about the Buchanan County Fair is you can enjoy the fair without spending a lot of money.
