In Regional Quarterfinals last night, with the winners advancing to the semifinals on Friday night-

Class 1A-

Ed-Co topped Midland 8-0 in 5 innings. The Vikings will host Kee High.

North Linn shutout Easton Valley 8-0. The Lynx will entertain Calamus-Wheatland who got by Central City 6-4.

Starmont took down Saint Ansgar 10-7, the Stars will travel up to Mason City on Friday night to face Newman Catholic.

Class 2A-

Beckman Catholic blanked Maquoketa Valley 8-0 in 5 innings. The Blazers will be at home with Sumner-Fredericksburg.

Cascade roughed up Northeast 10-0 in 4 innings. The Cougars will be at Durant.

Tonight Class 3A/4A/5A first round contests with 7pm start times-

West Delaware will be at home on Sill Field hosting Camanche, Bill Logan will have all the coverage on MIX 94.7, kmch.com and the KMCH App starting around 6:50pm.

Anamosa is home to Wilton.

Monticello travels to Alburnett.

Independence entertains Decorah
