KMCH SPORTS: WD Bobcats Baseball headed to state

In Class 3A substate final baseball, Western Dubuque held off Independence with a 7-4 win last night at Farley Park. The Bobcats program makes the state tournament for the 10th time since 1971 and drew the 5-seed to face North Polk at 1:30pm on Monday afternoon in Cedar Rapids at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
