Koe Wetzel Performing Friday at Delaware County Fair

It’s Day Five of the Delaware County Fair in Manchester.

Fair Manager Jeannie Domeyer says they are looking forward to country star Koe Wetzel taking the stage tonight.

Fair Board Vice President Al Kelchen says it’s been a hot one, but they’re hoping that doesn’t impact tonight’s fair.

Daughtry performed last night, with a change in the stage location – and it will remain that way tonight too – with the stage now located on the west side of the community center on the far west end of the track.

The idea for moving the stage is to accommodate more ticket holders on the track – which could hold true tonight as the Delaware County Fair is expecting their largest concert yet.

Fair royalty will also be crowned tonight, with two candidates running as the 2025 Delaware County Fair Queen Holly Gudenkauf and Fair Princess Ashlyn Kruse hand pass on their crowns.

And Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will be on the fairgrounds this afternoon between 1:30 and 3 pm touring the Delaware County Fair and visiting with fairgoers.

The Delaware County Fair will also be celebrating their fair babies on Saturday – a new tradition just started last year.

Saturday brings the Truck and Tractor Pulls, the Draft Horse Show Saturday night and Sunday and the Demo Derby on Sunday afternoon. Princess day is also back on Saturday – complete with carriage rides this year – and there will be superheroes at the fair on Sunday.

And the Delaware County Fair is excited to bring back church services to the fair, with an ecumenical church service on Sunday morning in the festival stage area.

The Delaware County Fair wraps up on Sunday. You can find more information online at delawarecofair.com.
