Iowa Ag Secretary Naig Visits Delaware County Fair

Iowa’s Secretary of Agriculture was in Manchester on Friday.

Secretary Mike Naig made a stop at the Delaware County Fair, touring the fairgrounds and visiting with exhibitors. 

Naig told KMCH News Director Janelle Tucker it reminded him of his old 4-H and fair days.

Naig was spending a few days visiting the northeast area of the state as part of his annual visit to Iowa’s 99 counties.

And he pointed out a few things he and his team are working on when it comes to Iowa agriculture.

Naig reminds Iowans that there is a special event coming up this fall as the state wraps up their America 250 celebration.
