Names Released in Fatal Dubuque County Collision

Authorities have released the names of those involved in a fatal collision in Dubuque County Monday morning.

The accident happened just south of New Vienna on Highway 52 near Double J Lane shortly before 10 am. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a SUV heading north crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound pickup. 

The driver of the SUV, 81-year old Margaret Bockenstedt of Cedar Rapids, died at the scene. 

The pickup driver, 51-year old Bob Blake of Decorah, and two passengers, 26-year old Cody Dostal of Ossian and 22-year old Jeremy Andera of Cresco, suffered minor injuries and were transported to MercyOne in Dyersville.
