The Manchester American Legion Riders will be making their way around the area this Saturday.
It’s their annual Fun Run. Tim Mastin joined the Riders about five years ago.
The Legion Riders’ Fun Run has been well attended for years, but they decided to change the date a couple years ago to avoid holding it the same day as the Country Cruisers’ Car Cruise, which is always held the second Saturday in August.
Motorcycles, cars and trucks are all welcome. Registration starts Saturday at 8 am at the Manchester American Legion Post 45. Kickstands will go up at 10:30 am sharp, with stops in Luxemburg, Peosta and Delhi.
They’ll return to Manchester around 3:45 pm, ending the day at Riverbend. Mastin says they’ll be trying some new things this year when it comes to their annual raffle and auction.
The cost for Saturday’s Manchester Legion Riders’ Fun Run is ten dollars per person.
