Two Tornadoes Confirmed in Delaware County from Tuesday’s Storms

Two tornadoes have been confirmed in Delaware County from Tuesday morning’s storms.
The National Weather Service’s storm damage survey team was in the area on Tuesday. The team determined that a tornado touched down west of Greeley, with damage at EF-1 intensity.
They found that a second tornado, also an EF-1, occurred southeast of Greeley.
EF-1 tornadoes have a wind speed range of 86 to 110 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service says additional short-lived tornadoes may have occurred in a path from Greeley to Maquoketa.
More will be finalized on these tornadoes when analysis is completed.
