KMCH SPORTS: West Delaware Volleyball on Brown Field returns this season

The West Delaware Activities Department has officially announced that outdoor volleyball will once again happen as part of the WD Hawks Volleyball program’s non-conference match-up, against in-county foe Maquoketa Valley on Thursday night September 17th. It will be the second time for the Hawks hosting an outdoor match on Brown Field, the first since the first ever outdoor one in Iowa occurred back on September 17th of 2024 when the Hawks hosted Mount Vernon. West Delaware’s JV squad will play MV at 6pm followed by the varsity squaring off around 7pm. WD will begin their competition season on Saturday, August 29th when they travel to the annual Independence invitational.
