One of the people injured in the accident in Farley last week has died.
On Friday morning around 4:30 am, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office, along with Farley Fire and EMS, responded to 1st Street South under the Highway 20 overpass bridges for the report of a single vehicle accident.
The Sheriff’s Office says 41-year old Gabriel E. Rodriguez Pina of Bloomingdale, Illinois and 41-year old Gaurav Karwal of Cedar Falls suffered serious injuries and were transported to MercyOne Dubuque. Rodriguez Pina was transferred to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics a short time later.
On Tuesday morning, the Sheriff’s Office shared that Rodriguez Pina died of his injuries.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
