Schulte Crowned New Delaware County Pork Queen

A rural Earlville teen has been crowned the new 2027 Delaware County Pork Queen.

Alison Schulte, a junior at Maquoketa Valley, was chosen for the title during the Delaware County Pork Producers’ 68th Annual Pork Barbeque on Thursday night.

Alison is the daughter of Craig and Beth Schulte. She grew up with a passion for showing pigs.

She says it’s the people that she loves most about the pork industry.

As the new Pork Queen, Alison will spend the next year working with the Delaware County Pork Producers to promote and educate others about pork.

Cheyenne Eike and Brianna Pirc were crowned the 2027 Delaware County Pork Princesses. They’ll serve alongside Little Miss Pigtails Eleanor Ries, Little Sir Hamalot Jameson Helmrichs and Alternate Little Sir Hamalot Hank Manternach. Outgoing 2026 Delaware County pork royalty includes Queen Brianna Pirc and Pork Princesses Addison Krogmann and Kate Ries.
