Intersection in Peosta Area Closing for Construction Project

If you’re passing through the Peosta area, you’ll want to be aware of road work.

The City of Peosta announced on Thursday that, effective immediately, Cox Springs Road at the intersection of Adrina Drive/Thunder Valley Drive will be closed to all southbound traffic to Highway 20. The closure is for an upcoming deceleration lane construction project.

The City says by the end of the morning on Friday, the Highway 20/Cox Springs Road deceleration lane and median will also be closed for the construction project. 

Drivers are asked to access Thunder Hills Road or Exit 308 overpass to access Highway 20 during the construction phase.

The project is expected to wrap up by November 13th.
