West Delaware 2026 Homecoming Court
It’s Homecoming week for the West Delaware Hawks. This year’s Homecoming theme is “Fairy Tales… Once Upon a Homecoming”. Junior Lily Kass says the high school hallways have been decorated to fit the theme.
The students are also dressed up in a Fairy Tales theme today. Other dress-up days this week were “Original Disney Day” on Monday, “Country or Country Club Day” on Tuesday and “Generations Day” on Wednesday, with the students always decking out in school colors for “Spirit Day” on Friday.
The Homecoming Pep Rally is Friday on Brown Field at 12:30 pm, with all students in the district attending.
The Homecoming Parade will start at 2 pm on Friday, taking its usual route through Manchester (map below). Bill Logan will broadcast the parade on KMCH and you’ll also be able to watch it on our KMCH Sports Video Stream on kmch.com.
On Friday night, West Delaware will host Iowa Falls-Alden, with the freshman/sophomore games beginning at 5 pm and varsity at 7:30 pm. Junior Josh Sleper says that’s the part of Homecoming week that he looks forward to the most.
Announcements and coronation will take place between the games on Friday night at 6:30 pm. This year’s honors include:
- Grand Marshal Dale Sperfslage
