Small Businesses Given Opportunity to Grow at Manchester’s Unique Business Center

Small businesses with no storefront are getting the chance to have their own space in Manchester.

It’s called the Unique Business Center – and it was an idea from Tina Knutson, who opened her small business, Cheesin Whey, a year ago.

The Unique Business Center aims to give small businesses, entrepreneurs and home-based businesses an opportunity to expand into their own store within their building.

Located on the east end of town at 1001 East Main, Knutson says the Unique Business Center will essentially serve as a mini mall.

The Unique Business Center is currently home to Cheesin Whey, Good Vibes Design and Park Lane Jewelry – with a hair salon and tattoo parlor coming soon. Knutson says they’ll also have pop-up kiosks that will change weekly.

Not only does the mini-mall concept help start-up businesses, but having multiple stores under one roof means more exposure and foot traffic for each of those businesses too.

If you’re interested in opening a business in their new space, you can visit with Tina at Cheesin Whey or reach out via the “Unique Business Center” Facebook page.

Knutson says they’ve still got some work to do on the building – but she’s excited to see what the future holds for the Unique Business Center.
