Delaware County Public Health Manager Delma Hardin has been recognized by the state. Hardin has received the Iowa Department of Public Health Challenge Coin and Certificate of Appreciation for her work in immunizations. The IDPH Challenge Coin is used to honor individuals demonstrating public health values in line with the department’s mission, which is promoting and protecting the health of Iowans. Hardin has over 25 years or hands-on immunization experience and has been committed to staying well informed so that local school nurses, daycares, parents, nurses and healthcare providers can depend on her for guidance on the most up-to-date immunization rules and recommendations.
