HS Baseball/Softball; Results from Tuesday 7-1

In area baseball last night; 40th-year Beckman head coach Tom Jenk Jr. will have to wait at least one more night for his milestone victory of 1,000 career wins. The Blazers and Mount Vernon were tied 8-8 in the 9th inning when the lights went out at Ash Park in Mount Vernon, leaving the game suspended and the 2nd game to be played at a later date. Coach Jenk Jr. currently sits at 999 wins and will next have his team in action on Thursday night against Clear Creek Amana.
