Top Fundraising Teams and Individuals for Delaware County Relay for Life

Relay 32The top fundraisers for this year’s Delaware County Relay for Life have been announced. The team Family Affair was named the top fundraising team, raising over 65-hundred dollars. Fanks Friends came in second with nearly five-thousand dollars, GNB Bank came in third with nearly three-thousand dollars, and Walkin and Roxen and the Ryan Shamrocks each raised over 28-hundred dollars. The other top fundraising teams were Rockwell Collins, the Manchester Lions Club, Team Wonder Woman, F & M Bank and Hope Faith – with each of those teams raising over two-thousand dollars. The top fundraising individuals were Kimberly Fank at nearly four-thousand dollars, Jen Ries at over 32-hundred dollars, Janice Wilson at just over one-thousand dollars, Tommy Ryan with over 780 dollars and Jane Mesch, who raised just over seven-hundred dollars. This year’s thirty-two teams raised a combined 43-thousand dollars and over 11-hundred luminaries were sold – that’s the most luminaries ever sold at a Delaware County Relay for Life event. And as we told you earlier this week, the committee expects this year’s event raised nearly 70-thousand dollars. The next Delaware County Relay for Life event will be held in 2016.
