This week is feeling a little more like fall this summer… Forecasters say a cold front from the far north has made its way into our region, bringing us some unseasonably cool weather. Temperatures are only reaching into the 60s today, and should slowly climb into the 70s the rest of the week. Normal highs at this time of year are around 83 degrees.
National Weather Service meteorologist Miles Schumacher says July is not only bringing us some cooler weather but some drier weather too. He says it doesn’t look like we’ll get much rain at all this week across the state. Our next chance for rain or storms will come Monday.
The cool break won’t likely last much into next week… Schumacher expects highs to start creeping back toward normal in the 80s and low 90s after this weekend.
