Start of Worthington Road Paving Project Delayed One Week

The start date for the Worthington Road Paving Project has been delayed. Delaware County Engineer Anthony Bardgett says Horsfield Construction’s crews expected to start work today (Monday), but they are held up trying to finish a job in another county. Crews plan to start construction on D-35, the road that leads from X-47 to Worthington, next week.

In other construction news around Delaware County, Taylor Construction will be working on forming the bridge deck on the 310th Avenue Bridge this week.

The rebuilding of 210th Street north of Masonville is mostly complete. The County is keeping the road closed to allow the grade to dry out a little more. Once the grade is firm, crews will finish off the road and open it to traffic.

And crews are working around the county performing concrete patching. The road will be reduced to one lane traffic in the work zone areas.
