HS Volleyball: WD Hawks Stay Undefeated/10-7 Results

The class 4A 2nd-ranked West Delaware Volleyball team improved their overall match record to 29-0 last night with a home senior night victory. The Hawks beat Beckman 3-0, 25-19/25-13/25-23 to up their WaMaC conference East division mark to 5-0 and increased their set record to 63-1. Hawks head coach Brett Mather talked about the main positives in his mind that set the tone early on for his squad:

Coach Mather liked the way his team responded when the Blazers stepped it up in game three, he also gave high praise to an improved Beckman varsity squad:

The three Hawk seniors were introduced before the game and greeted by their teammates with gift bags and flowers. Coach Mather talks about how much, Marly Boies, Haley Morrison and Emily Thole have meant to his program the past few years:

The Hawks will return to action Thursday night in Solon with first place in the division on the line.
