Paving operations are in full spring on Worthington Road. Crews started paving on the X-47 end of D-35 last week and should finish paving the mainline pavement today. Delaware County Engineer Anthony Bardgett says it’s taking about 3 to 4 days to achieve opening strength for each stretch of road paved.
All the work on the 310th Avenue Bridge is now complete. The road recently re-opened to traffic.
On the Turtle Creek Bridge Project, the dirt subcontractor has moved out. The bridge contractor may start the substructure work sometime in November.
And work on the 300th Avenue Bridge northeast of Hopkinton could start in November. The little wooden bridge will be re-constructed using the old deck panels recycled from the 310th Avenue Bridge.
