HS Volleyball: Regional Results from Thursday 10-30

The class 4A 2nd-ranked West Delaware Hawks Volleyball team improved to 42-2 with a 3-0 sweep of Western Dubuque last night inside West Delaware High School. Hawks won 25-14, 27-25 and 25-16. The Bobcats end their season at 14-19 and say goodbye to 4 seniors. Head coach Brett Mather talked about the positives he saw from his squad:

With the win the Hawks advance to their 13th consecutive Regional Final appearance dating back to 2002. They will face Dubuque Wahlert who took down North Scott at home last night 3-1. The region 6 final will be in Cascade Tuesday night at 7pm.

Beckman beat CP-U 3-0, winning 25-23, 25-18 and 25-16. Beckman will battle highly ranked Solon in Center Point for regional final 3A action at 7pm.
