The Foundation for the Future of Delaware County (FFDC) generously committed $25,000 toward Regional Medical Center’s (RMC) ‘Together We Can’ Capital Campaign to support the hospital’s facility expansion project.
“The Foundation is extremely proud to support such an important regional initiative. We believe in the mission and vision of Regional Medical Center and are excited to be a part of their growth,” stated Jerry Burke, FFDC Chair. “The support of the foundation and surrounding communities will help ensure the sustainability of Regional Medical Center for years to come.”
“Regional Medical Center is very grateful for the generous gift the foundation has offered to our capital campaign ‘Together We Can’. This gift and facility expansion are about the future of the communities we serve and our commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care,” stated Mike Briggs, RMC’s System and Fund Development Director. “With the support from organizations like the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County, Regional Medical Center can continue providing an outstanding patient experience for all who seek our services.”
The FFDC focuses on bridging the county’s needs with responsive giving. The committee is structured to identify, assess, and monitor county needs; help donors have an impact on the lives and issues they care about most; provide grants to nonprofit organizations serving Delaware County; and provide leadership on important issues and projects throughout the county. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that surrounding communities charitable programs were supported now and in the future. Since the inception of the FFDC in 2005, over $856,000 has been granted to organizations throughout the county and 16 funds have been created to better the community.
Thank you to all past and future donors for investing in the health of our neighbors and helping create a better future for our communities. As with every successful capital campaign, every dollar and every person makes a difference.
