The Manchester Window Walk will feature something new this year – a static Christmas parade. Chamber Director Jack Klaus says a static parade has floats and entries that sit still in the street while people walk by them.
The static Christmas parade will be lined up on the 100 block of East Main Street on Thursday night, December 4th as part of the annual Manchester Window Walk. The parade will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm, and parade watchers will be asked to vote for their favorite entry.
Anyone can participate in the static Christmas parade. There is a ten dollar entry fee and prizes will be awarded. Set-up will begin that night at 5:30 pm. Everyone is asked to use LED lights and the vehicles will not be allowed to run during the parade. You can register by contacting the Manchester Chamber office by November 21st.
