The Delaware County Board of Supervisors held a special swearing-in ceremony Monday. Doug Dabroski was sworn in after winning the seat in the general election two weeks ago. Dabroski had been temporarily serving as a Supervisor since he was appointed earlier this year to fill the position, which was left vacant by resigning board member Jerry Ries.
In other County news, the Worthington Road Paving Project on D-35 has officially wrapped up. Pavement markings completed the project last week. County Engineer Anthony Bardgett is still waiting for word from contractors on when work will start on the Turtle Creek Bridge Project and the 300th Avenue Bridge Project.
And the Snow Pioneers have submitted their proposed snowmobile routes for the upcoming winter season. The Board of Supervisors will review the proposed routes and wait to approve them until their meeting next Monday.
