A Guttenberg man is in custody following an incident at the Can-Do Redemption Center in Manchester Wednesday. Manchester Police say they were called to the center for a person who was upset and kicking doors. When officers arrived, they were told the suspect was inside the building with a hammer. The suspect, 29-year old Joshua Cumming of Guttenberg, was arrested. An investigation uncovered that Cumming was upset with an ex-girlfriend and tried forcing his way into a locked room with a hammer to gain access to her. Cumming faces several charges, including First Degree Burglary and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
