The Manchester City Council has approved the final plat for a minor subdivision just north of town. The Neuhaus Subdivision sits just outside the Manchester city limits between Highway 13 and Honey Creek Road.
The City Council has agreed to renew the City’s mowing contract with Simon’s Lawn Care and Maintenance for another two years. The company provides grass mowing and lawn care services to the City for the past two years and the city staff has been very happy with their service.
The council’s decision on a contract with T & W Grinding has been tabled until the next meeting. T & W Grinding has been providing grinding and composting services for the City of Manchester for a number of years. The company is asking for a renewed three-year contract with a ten-percent increase, which would be a proposed 33-thousand dollars a year.
And the Council has approved pay increases for two employees of the Manchester Public Library. Librarian Lydia Kenyon has completed two years of service and will see an increase of $12.28 an hour, and Circulation Clerk Chris Reiss has completed six years of service and will see an increase of $12.14 an hour.
