MREP Center Hosting Project Lead the Way Open House

MREP CenterThe Manchester Regional Education Partnership Center is holding an Open House this Wednesday to showcase its newly-completed Project Lead the Way classroom. Project Lead the Way is a curriculum developed to expose students to STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The Project Lead the Way courses offer students a more dynamic learning environment, allowing students to create, test and design through hands-on courses. It gives them experiences very similar to the real world. M-REP Center Director Deb Kintzle says in four years, there will be over one million unfilled jobs in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math, so the community is working with NICC to prepare these students for good job opportunities.
