The Delaware County Farm Bureau was recently recognized with a couple of statewide honors. Delaware County received an outstanding designation for its 2014 involvement in programs that help further the story of agriculture to new audiences. Delaware County was also honored with the 2014 Leo Waggoner Award, which honors county Farm Bureaus that recognize the importance of increasing membership and work beyond their 2014 membership goal. County Farm Bureaus who achieved 104-percent of more of the membership goal by July 1st were recognized as a recipient of the Leo Waggoner Membership Award. Delaware County Farm Bureau President Kevin Maloney says they have over 25-hundred members.
